These Terms & Conditions ('Terms') govern your use of Online Mandi. By using the Vendor App, visiting the website, or interacting with our WhatsApp/phone-based services, you agree to these Terms. Our platform operates purely as an information and communication service that connects farmers and vendors. We do not participate in any agricultural transaction.
Online Mandi's role is limited to collecting crop-related information from farmers and sharing it with registered vendors. We provide a structured way for buyers and sellers to discover each other. We do not broker deals, negotiate prices, handle payments, transport produce, verify crop quality, or certify information. We provide only the information that farmers share with us. All commercial actions happen directly between the farmer and vendor.
The platform is intended for individuals who understand and can independently manage crop buying or selling responsibilities. Since agricultural trading involves negotiation, pricing, and handling produce, minors are allowed to participate only under adult supervision. This avoids financial or legal misunderstandings, and ensures that users have the maturity to manage these decisions.
Whether a farmer or vendor, users must comply with local trading rules, market rules, and transportation regulations. Online Mandi does not monitor or enforce legal compliance during transactions. Users are entirely responsible for following applicable laws during the buying or selling process.
Farmers and vendors may be contacted through field outreach, referrals, or publicly available information. However, registration occurs only after the individual verbally agrees. If the farmer or vendor does not wish to register, Online Mandi immediately stops communication and does not store their information.
We collect only essential information: Name, Phone number, Village/Taluk/District, and Crop details. No GPS location, Aadhaar, PAN, bank details, or ID documents are collected. This keeps privacy risks low and ensures the platform remains simple and farmer-friendly.
Details:
Once registration is done, we notify the farmer via WhatsApp that their profile is created, their crop posts when created will be shared with vendors, and their contact number will be visible to vendors for crop enquiries. This ensures full transparency and avoids misunderstandings.
Highlights:
Farmers share crop details with us verbally. We create the sell post exactly as communicated. If the farmer gives incorrect or outdated information, the responsibility lies entirely with the farmer. Online Mandi does not verify crop quality, age, quantity, moisture, or expected price.
Vendors select crop categories during registration. Sell posts are shown only to vendors who have expressed interest in that particular crop type. Vendors do not have access to all farmer data — only data relevant to their selected crop interests. This protects privacy and ensures a focused experience.
Our platform does not intermediate communication. Vendors call farmers directly using the phone number provided in the sell post. All discussions, negotiations, and decisions occur privately between farmer and vendor.
Since vendors rely entirely on the details shared through the sell post, farmers must provide correct information regarding crop availability, quantity, age, moisture, and quality. Incorrect information may lead to disputes, and Online Mandi is not responsible for such outcomes.
Farmers must negotiate prices, discuss terms, confirm crop quality in person, manage payments, and handle loading, weighing, and transportation. Online Mandi is not involved in any of these activities.
Responsibilities:
Farmers have full control over their data. They may contact us anytime to update or remove a sell post. We will comply at the earliest.
Vendors must personally verify crop quality, moisture, weight, quantity, and price suitability. Online Mandi does not inspect or certify any crop. All claims in a sell post come directly from the farmer.
Verifications:
A vendor receives a farmer's number solely for agricultural buying enquiries. Using the number for harassment, spamming, non-agricultural business, or data sale or misuse is strictly prohibited and results in immediate suspension.
Prohibited:
The vendor handles negotiations, payment, transport, weighing, and documentation (if applicable). Online Mandi does not intervene or coordinate any of these activities.
Transactions:
We do not buy or sell crops, fix or influence prices, weigh produce, transport items, handle payment, verify farmer/vendor identity, or guarantee deals. We only provide a communication link.
Not Done:
We try to share posts promptly, but vendors may not call, deals may not occur, and prices may not match. Our responsibility ends with sharing information.
Limitations:
Our services depend on internet connectivity, WhatsApp delivery, Vendor App uptime, and Firebase hosting. There may be delays, downtime, or technical issues beyond our control.
Dependencies:
We reserve the right to suspend or permanently block users for harassing vendors, misusing farmer data, providing false information, performing illegal activities, or abusing platform features. Suspension can be immediate to protect other users.
Grounds:
If we detect harmful behavior, we may act instantly without warning. This ensures safety for our farmer and vendor community.
Farmers and vendors must follow any applicable trade rules, transport laws, and local market requirements. Online Mandi neither advises nor enforces compliance.
Compliance:
If a disagreement arises between farmer and vendor, it must be resolved directly between them. Online Mandi never mediates or intervenes in commercial conflicts.
We are not responsible for quality mismatch, weight disputes, moisture differences, low price offers, payment delays, fraud, loss of produce, transport damage, or failed negotiations. All risks belong to the parties involved.
Not Responsible:
We make reasonable efforts to keep the platform functional, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service, perfect accuracy, or flawless performance.
The Online Mandi name, logo, app design, website content, and communication format are proprietary. Users must not copy or republish them without permission.
As our service evolves, we may revise these Terms. Updated versions will be posted on our website. Continued use of the platform means you accept the new Terms.
